Before calling for service, here are some helpful tips:


Refrigerators:
  • Make sure the airway for the grill is not obstructed.
  • Make sure your condenser is cleaned with a brush every six months.
  • Make sure the door closes properly every time!!
Dish washers:
  • Make sure to rinse your dishes not Thoroughly but well; the reason why you want to rinse your dishes is to get most of the food particles out of the dishes, but not all the grease and oil because the standard soap can be abrasive and leave some itching on your dishes.
  • Before making a service call, when your dish washer is not draining make sure your new disposals drain plug is knocked out.
Washer machines:
  • Less is more when is comes to soap; usually the excess soap will turn into suds, and it is usually the number one cause of breakdowns and leak of washer machines.
  • Make sure your pockets are empty before you throw the clothes in the washer machines.
 Dryer machines:
  • Clean, clean, clean; make sure the lint filter is cleaned before processing the next cycle.
  • Clean, clean, clean; make sure the exhaust vent is not obstructed in any way, because the obstruction in the exhaust will create a high temperature cut out by the high limit thermostat which is the leading cause of the dryer machine breakdown.
  • Make sure your selected drying cycle is not air-dry because there is cold air only and no heat coming out of it.
Stoves and wall ovens:
  • Clean, clean, clean; if you have an electric oven make sure no spills of grease or oils or food particles are dripping into the heating element.
  • Make sure not to use your clean cycle more than ones a year because it will shorten the lifespan of your appliance.
  • Make sure your top gas burners are cleaned are cleaned regularly before use.
  • For electric smooth cook tops, make sure they are cleaned out after each and every use.
Room air-conditioners:
  • Make sure the air-conditioner’s size is appropriate to your room.
  • Make sure that your condenser coil is cleaned weekly.
  • Make sure you bring your room air-conditioner inside when the summer season is over.
Central air-conditioners:
  • Make sure you have your yearly tune up each and every spring to make sure your air-conditioner is working efficiently and ready for the upcoming season.
  • Things you might be able to do; clean your condenser with water hose and a biodegradable condenser coil cleaners.
